Global Notebook welcomes pitches from writers who can make a subject about borders, shared places, exchange, maps, or global connections clear and compelling for curious readers.
What we are looking for
We are interested in original, well-scoped proposals that explain a specific question, place, or connection. A strong pitch shows why the subject matters beyond a single headline, what context readers need, and how the piece will avoid flattening different experiences into one account.
What to include
Send a short outline, the central idea, the likely category, and a few sentences about the approach and material you would draw on. Mention any relevant perspective you bring to the subject without overstating your expertise. Please do not send a complete article unless requested.
How to propose a piece
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title and a concise pitch in your message. A proposal is not a promise of publication; accepted work must meet the publication's standards for accuracy, clarity, and fair treatment.
